The Royal Nonesuch is the band that defines an era. The true Knights of Fuzz, the Nonesuch was formed in the early '80s in Springfield, Missouri, as an offshoot of another ferocious band, called the Limit. Born of a mutual passion for the loudest, noisiest, garage bands from the '60s, the Nonesuch lives, breathes, and plays rock 'n' roll with bone-crunching authenticity. The band dissolved in the late '80s, but reformed in the year 2000 with singer Eric Williams from Rabbi Sputnick fronting the band. Although a full-length album has yet to be released, their catalog of 45s, and tracks on compilation albums are sought-after collector's items.
The best source for purchasing Nonesuch records and memorabilia is probably from the labels themselves. French label 442 eme Rue, Greek label Garage Comes Alive, and U.S. label Get Hip Records are all trustworthy and recomended.
