The Axis are an upcoming 60's acid rock band from Plano/Dallas, Texas. They play many original songs as well as covers from such bands as Led Zeppelin, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Who, and Cream.
The band consists of Hunter Johnston(bass), Cory West (guitar) and Bobby Schattle(drums). This power trio's chemistry is what makes the music of the 60s come back alive. They have just released their album, 'For Real' and are playing gigs in the Dallas area.

Led Zeppelin, The Experience (Hendrix), The Who, Cream, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double trouble, Frank Zappa, The Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, The Doors, Steppenwolf, Jeff Beck, The Byrds, Love, Pink Floyd, Mahavishnu Orchestra, King Crimson, Genesis, and all the other legends of acid rock and blues.
