Jamie was born and raised in New York, but now lives in Venice, California. In June 2007 he released his first concept-record, "The Green Album", to some rave reviews and lots of downloads. He's currently working on a follow-up record, very much in the same vein, only darker and heavier. In NYC from 1993-2003, he played in a few noteworthy, local bands such as Frankenorange, The Moonshine Messiahs, Sewer Doves & Cabbage UK. Unfortunately, a brutal hiking accident in Sequoia National Park curtailed his NYC experience when he relocated to California for rehabilitation. He's since healed fine and is back playing out with his new band "The Modeens". When not making psychedelic concept records or climbing mountains, Jamie makes music for TV & film and has been featured in Tape Op, Electronic Musician and Mix magazines. He just recently made some preset sounds for IK Multimedia's Sampletron, an awesome 60's Mellotron simulator. Keep a look out for his new record and some shows soon.
