'DEPHASERS' were formed in 1999 in the Barcelona Faculty of Physics, when some of the worst students decided to apply quantum mechanic, ultra-violet radiation and string theory to garage rock and roll covers at the booze-fuelled campus parties. At that time, they were known as "Los Sospechosos" after some unknown catalan scientist. Then, after some changes in the band’s line-up, they changed their name to "dePHasers". Band members are: Eixarc (guitar and voices), dJ2 (guitar and voices), Jordi Bragger (voice), Xavi Ribas (bass guitar) and Klaas (drums) Nowadays they display a poisonous mixture of dark garage and psychedelic vocal harmonies in their songs, which come from their passion for the 60's underground music .
They have recorded 2 demos so far: "Time Is Back!"(2005) and "How to feel the air"(2008) that placed them on the stages of events like "The Magic Bubble Festival", "Mondo Festival", and several other venues around the whole immensity of Catalonia, particularly Barcelona; luckily, they enjoy a never-ending stay in the underground scene.
