Having reached legendary status with their records and gigs in the 90s, especially as support act of the Rolling Stones in 98 the Jaybirds took a creative break in 2002.
Everyone of them started to work on several new music projects like The Subcandies, Music Apartment, Medusa, Club Gourmet Gold Combo, just to name a few. ....
At the end of '06 the Jaybirds came back with the inspiration just to make great music together again..... And the 'Five R&B Mad Boys' with their Mod haircuts, short jackets, pointed boots, hipsters and cufflinks have grown with their musical experiences and experiments in the last years. But they still sound as ever, if not even better than ever before.
Having played many shows in 07/08, e.g. one with the Sonics in London last spring, the time is ripe now for a new Jaybird..s release (after 10 years!!!)! This 7' contains 2 brand new songs. The A side track „Take your chance' is a totally authentic 60..s pop song just like in ' The Byrds' way, with fine backround choirs, a great guitar riff and a piano contribute. With „Boy Meets Girl Story Line' on the flipside you get a pure '67 style song with many psychedelic arrangements. The first 100 copies are hand-numbered and in colored vinyl ! ....
